DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products to Present the “Natural Choice in Glycols” at the World Brewing Congress 2016
Wilmington, Del., July 25, 2016 – Brewers have a clear passion for the craft that goes into every pint that is brewed. Mustafa Rehmanji, brew master and Master Brewers Association of America (MBAA) Award of Merit recipient, and Laurie Kronenberg, global marketing director, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products, will present a comparison of traditional petroleum-based heat transfer glycols, used in process cooling applications, with a new bio-based heat transfer material, Susterra® propanediol. The comparison evaluates safety, stability, performance across a range of temperatures, pumping efficiency and a peer reviewed life cycle assessment.
“The beer industry certainly has a long, storied history, but the interwoven art and science of beer making continues to improve year after year,” Rehmanji said last year after he received the MBAA Merit Award. “Now, I am pleased to continue my journey helping the industry improve upon the craft through other new initiatives,” explained Rehmanji as he prepares for this year’s WBC meeting.
