DuPont Tate & Lyle Appoints New Distributors of Zemea® – IMCD for Italy and Dichem Chemicals for Greece

Wilmington, DE., AUGUST 18, 2011 – DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products LLC announced new distributor partnerships in Western Europe for its 100 percent bio-based product, Zemea® propanediol. The company has appointed the IMCD Group as distributor for Zemea® in Italy and Dichem Chemicals SA in Greece.

“We are very excited to expand our relationships and commitments with IMCD and Dichem,” said Denis Burlaud, account executive, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), for DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products. “They have excellent formulation development support and a professional sales organization in place to help introduce and grow our Zemea® sales in the personal care and cleaning products markets. With these two partnerships, Zemea® is now available in more than 40 countries worldwide.”

“This partnership with DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products allows IMCD to strengthen its position in the Italian market, where there is a strong demand for natural and certified products.
