DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Expands Distribution of Zemea® Propanediol to South America
Appoints Sarfam as distributor of Zemea® for Brazil
Wilmington, DE., JUNE 26, 2011 – DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products LLC announced entry into the South American market for its 100 percent bio-based product, Zemea® propanediol. The company has appointed Sarfam as distributor for Zemea® for Brazil.
Zemea® is a certified natural ingredient developed for use in cosmetics, personal care and home cleaning products. It is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based glycols where the product’s lack of skin irritation, improved moisturization and excellent sensorial attributes are benefits. Zemea® has been recognized by Ecocert ™ and the Natural Products Association as an ingredient of natural origin.
