DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Expands European Distribution of Zemea® to Nordic and Eastern European Countries

Expands Distribution of Zemea^® Propanediol into Northern and Eastern Europe

Wilmington, DE., Aug. 5, 2010 – DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products LLC announced the expansion of geographic coverage in Europe for its breakthrough product, Zemea^® propanediol. The company has appointed the IMCD Group as distributor for Zemea^® in Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Zemea^® is a 100 percent natural ingredient developed for use in cosmetics, personal care and home cleaning products. It is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based glycols where the products purity level, low irritation and excellent moisturization properties are benefits.

In addition to the newly authorized countries in the Nordic and Eastern European regions, IMCD also manages distribution of Zemea^® in France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands.
